Teriyaki Sauce
1 1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. water or sake
1 1/3 c. sugar (plus approximately 2 Tbsp)
1 Tbsp roasted ground sesame seeds
1/2 tsp aji-no-moto (optional)
1 clove garlic minced
1" x 1" fresh ginger grated
2-3 stalks green onion chopped
Mix all ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Soak beef, pork or chicken in sauce for about 2 hours refrigerated. BBQ=Yum!
